advertising

AdWords, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter advertising, to make sure that you and your website make it.

Social Media

Making a campaign is very doable, but it's managing it and reacting to shifts in demographic targeting and engagement that is often difficult and takes time. I've priced this at the lowest I possibly can while still making any money whatsoever - because I enjoy it, it's not immediate or requiring of weird hours, and fun.

$20 per week

AdWords / YouTube

I've scaled this with the complexity of your project and the attention/hours required of it, because that seems only fair. If you want to create a campaign that's pretty much set-and-go, great! I only ask for a few dollars a week to keep up on those once made. If it requires a lot consistently, it'll only increase accordingly.

Combination

Creating an ad campaign that hits on multiple fronts is always recommended when possible, and will get a much broader spread of users. Whether as a blitz or a sustained campaign, trying to get the greatest visibility is always a good idea. Usually doable for only a few dozen to a few hundred dollars per week.

film work

Whether shot and recorded solo, with a full crew, or only doing post-production, I make sure to give the best and price fairly.

Team of One

Counting travel costs, expenses, prep time (preparing cards, emptying footage, charging batteries, packing and unpacking equipment, tripods, mounts), this introductory rate is the best I can give. It's my lowest day-rate (partial days are also available), and may scale depending on the size of the project.

Full Crew

Getting a full crew together is no easy feat, and requires that a lot of people set aside any day jobs or other work they have to come work on a project. This introductory rate is for two people, and will go up accordingly with how many are needed. Remember, though, that more people makes filming go faster.

Editing and Color

This is an extremely affordable price for most projects, since many videos (if their format and script are locked down) will be editable in a matter of hours, costing you potentially under one hundred dollars to a few hundred maximum for most projects.

$200+ per day  $700+ per day  $40 to $60 per hour

websites

Coded from the ground up in HTML5/Bootstrap/CSS/SASS/Javascript/MySQL, or made using WP/Squarespace/Wix.

WordPress

WordPress is the most extensible of all of the WYSIWYG systems, and has the most plugins and pre-made themes to work into a new site. Cost may include the price of a template, if you have one in mind that you need, but at $250 starting, it will always be ridiculously cheap for a full-fledged website with e-commerce.

$250+ per site

Wix / Squarespace

Wix and Squarespace are both fantastic at being self-contained systems that have plugins that are made and monitored by their respective teams themselves, and are therefore far less prone to security or outdating issues. Fonts, formats, parallax, pages, style, themes, e-commerce, and more are all options.

$400+ per site

Coded from scratch

This can take up to a few weeks, depending on how unique you want your site to be, and will likely take all of my waking hours in that time if it's very complex. But all of that time and effort is to give you unparalleled control, user interactivity, and access, in a website that is designed from the ground up just for you.

On gear -

I'm constantly buying new gear, to keep up with client needs and to get better stuff. I currently can shoot and output an entirely 4K workflow, with the Usra 4K cinema camera on the ground, and the 3DR Solo for aerial footage.

I spend nearly every single dollar that's not going to food and rent on new gear. And this isn't just to have new stuff -- it's necessary in order to stay competitive, and also to make sure that I can deliver the best possible product to you.

Ethics of pricing policy -

The pricing of all elements is made to insure the viability of the services for nearly anyone, no matter the scale. My concern is getting my rent paid, having food, and buying new equipment to be able to make even better work when able.

I do not have an ostentatious lifestyle, nor do I believe in charging simply whatever the highest bidder will pay -- so I will try to ask only what is fair and doable for anyone, as long as I can make my payments.
